Laura Zam is the author of the bestselling memoir The Pleasure Plan. She’s also a Certified Trauma Professional, Sexual Health Coach, TEDx speaker, and women’s health advocate.

Laura’s writing appears in The New York Times, Salon, HuffPost, Sheknows, and additional publications. In 2013, Laura’s autobiographical one-person play about healing from child abuse was presented Off-Broadway. Media outlets that have covered Laura’s work include NBC TV, NPR, Fox-28, Bustle, Authority Magazine, and many others.

She’s presented at countless venues, including Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and women’s empowerment conferences. Her ongoing campus keynotes focus on healthy sexual dialogue as a way to prevent assault.

Awards include a grant from the Soros Foundation and five Fellowships from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Laura holds a Master’s degree from Brown University.

She regularly offers coaching and workshops for women struggling with sex.
